Evolved By Nature is an incredible sustainable biotechnology company in Medford, MA, backed by investors including Chanel, The Kraft Group, Roy Disney, and Jeffrey Vinik. I led the communications discipline for the organization, including creating and managing social channels, agency relationships, press release development, award submissions, white paper development, and more. I created and launched a hand sanitizer donation program, which was featured on a Boston CBS affiliate. I also built and managed The Hive, a real-time listening and response team dedicated to informing content creation. This only scratches the surface of all the projects you touch working at a fast-paced startup!

Until I joined, MullenLowe did not have a dedicated social media strategy team. Throughout my time there, we built one from scratch, and it grew to seven team members working across more than seven clients. It was my role to not only manage client relationships, develop content strategies, and oversee creative execution but also to create the foundational documents for this new team. I worked on high-profile clients, including Ulta Beauty, Intel, and Indeed.
The six years I spent at the largest independent PR firm in the world still influence my career. I was a member of the Digital team before Instagram was even a thing, but we were figuring out how to get our clients engaged and involved in the social communities that existed (namely Facebook, a newly launched Twitter, and various online forums). Eventually, I joined the social listening team and played a key role in developing the toolsets and methodologies for client reporting. I used these insights to inform crisis response strategies and messaging, ongoing content creation, influencer maps, and more. I spent time on-site at United Airlines during their merger with Continental, helping keep a pulse on consumer and press attitudes. I played a key role in developing an online ambassador program for a national pet food brand, significantly reducing its online negative sentiment. I worked with amazing global brands like Disney, Huggies, Aptar, and more.
